41 razor blades found on playground equipment at a Michigan park

Investigations are taking place after 41 razor blades were found in a Michigan park. Officials think the razor blades were strategically placed, and measures are being taken to look for razor blades at other parks. There is a $2,500 reward for anyone who has information pertaining to the source of the razor blades.

CDC’s Halloween Guidelines Warn Against Typical Trick-Or-Treating

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a statement regarding safety this Halloween. The CDC states that door-to-door trick-or-treating, haunted houses, Halloween parties and hayrides are very high risk activities to partake in this fall. Instead, they suggested individually wrapped gift bags at the end of a driveway, outdoor costume parades, haunted forests, and apple/ pumpkin picking.

California to Ban Sales of New Gas-Powered Cars Starting in 2035

California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed an order to ban all gas cars by the year 2035. Gov. Newsom did this in order to combat global warming that has been caused by greenhouse-gasses. Gov. Newsom believes that these emissions are aiding the expansion of the wildfires in California and wants to do his part in reducing the fires.
