After a sudden spread of COVID-19 in Dublin, Ireland caused bars and restaurants to close last week, some bars are now able to reopen in the city. These pubs must only serve drinks and must adhere to outdoor seating, social distancing, and mask-wearing guidelines. Officials believe this will be a really great for the citizens of Dublin, as it will improve mental health and help businesses.

Officials in Zimbabwe and Botswana are researching the deaths of over 30 elephants. They believe that the elephants were exposed to toxins that came from certain bacteria. The elephant population in this part of Africa is very dense though, and officials believe that this bacteria will have no lasting affect on the elephant population.

A village in Deveselu, Romania hes re-elected their mayor, Ion Aliman, despite him dying two weeks ago of COVID-19. The villagers respected Aliman greatly and said that he respected the people and the laws of the village, and therefore he deserved re-election. Another election will be held in the near future to elect a new mayor.
